Performances include Jazz, Big Band sounds, Brazilian Farro, Middle eastern fusion, Irish music, and Salsa dancing. Socrates Sculpture Park

Socrates Sculpture Park' free summer bus service promotes and connects Long Island City's cultural institution, while linking the western Queens waterfront to a major transit hub at Court Square in Long Island City. The LIC Bus will be free of charge. The bus, which will stop at the socrates Sculpture Park, The Noguchi Museum, Sculpture Center, and MoMA PS1. The bus will run Saturday & Sunday afternoons, Form May 10 to Sept 14 from 12-6:00pm

On May 31st, 2014 the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy had the official presentation of the Logo which features a stylized gantry, one of the landmark of Hunters Point South Park with the shore line of the East River behind. Bill Bylewski President of the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy previous called Friends of the Gantry, invites the community to become member for only $20.00 Dlls a Year.
