This cute little place has an American Owner, Mexican chef and Russian waitress it's located at 7 Vernon Blvd/Jackson ave in LIC. It's steps from the 7 Train entrance, and only one stop from Grand Central. The Eggs Benedict is a must, the french toast is fantastic, skip the burger and go for the french onion soup, great crepes and many savory combinations, in one word deLICious! Monday nights feature live music. This place is Highly Recommended.

On Tuesday , June 3rd the The Chocolate Factory Theater is having their culinary fundraising event Taste of LIC it's a celebration of Long Island City's cultural and culinary excellence with over 50+ Local restaurants sharing their best dishes. The event takes place in the gorgeous water front Gantry Plaza State Park

Flea Market time! LIC FLEA AND FOOD outdoor market will be back again for the spring/ summer season during the weekend of April 5th and 6th. The outdoor Market hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM is located in the corner of 5th Street & 46th Avenue in Long Island City.

Long Island City Welcomes You, Street festival on Vernon!

On  Saturday May 17th 2014. Vernon Blvd will be celebrating a block festival. The block party is hosted by LIC  Partnership. The event is called Spring Stroll.  

Traffic will be closed from 50th ave and 46th ave. from 1:00pm to 6:00pm

There will be Musicians, Face Painters, Dancers. Restaurants located on vernon will be able to put tables and chairs as well serve food without needing a city permits. it will be a great day for local business and fun for kids
