The Noguchi Museum

The Noguchi Museum shuttle bus from Manhattan
On Sunday June 1st,The Noguchi Museum is launching a summer pilot shuttle bus from the Rubin Museum of Art It's a great way to visit the Noguchi Museum in Long Island City If you bring your ticket Stub both Museums are offering half-off admission.
The bus leave from The Rubin Museum of Art 150 west 17th Street at 12:00p,1:45pm and 3:30pm. Return trips from The Noguchi Museum are 1:00pm,2:45pm and 5:30pm

Hunters points south waterfront park

Hunters Points South Waterfront Park
Hunters Points South Park  in Long Island City was recently an abandoned post-industrial area. It's now a transformed relaxing space that offers fun for everyone. The new park include a central green, a playground, a dog run, a bike way, a water side promenade, a basketball court, and a 13,000 square foot pavilion with comfort stations and a concession place called Coffeed that offers Beers, wines and soft drinks.

Mrs Cerbone, locally know as Mama Giana is the owner of Manducatis Rustica Restaurant in Long Island City CONGRATULATIONS Mama Giana!

The Long Island City Partnership will host the first ever LIC SPRINGS! block party. complete with free performances, arts displays, family-friendly activities, and culinary tastes of the neighborhood-on Saturday May 17th the event coincides with the popular LIC Arts Open festival and the weekend LIC FLEA & FOOD  outdoor market-creating a day of activities through Long Island City.

Sheila's passion for engagement in her community started as a child. Her first petition was to extend libray hours when she was 7 years of age. Sheila founded The Chocolate Factory Theatre in 2004 with her Husband (then partner)
